Pre Employment Screening Investigation
Law firm is investigating Concentra for subjecting employee applicants undergoing pre placement employment examinations in California to invasive and illegal health history questions.
INVESTIGATION
The law firm of Phillips, Erlewine, Given & Carlin LLP is looking into possible Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) violations committed by Concentra against employee applicants undergoing pre employment medical screenings between 2021 and 2024.
POTENTIAL VIOLATIONS INCLUDE REQUIRING APPLICANTS TO:
- Disclose their entire medical history from birth to present as a condition of passing the examination 
- Disclose all aspects of their physical and psychological health history regardless of specific job position 
- Answer questions unrelated to any job function including whether the applicant has, or has ever had during their lifetime, venereal diseases, penile discharge, irregular menstruation, or genital pain, among others. 
POTENTIALLY IMPACTED EMPLOYEES:
Any employee applicant who received a pre placement exam through Concentra between 2021 and 2024.

All Concentra facilities located in California including:
- Concentra San Francisco 
- Concentra San Jose 
- Concentra Oakland 
- Concentra Sacramento 
- Concentra Fresno 
- Concentra Bakersfield 
- Concentra Los Angeles 
- Concentra Long Beach 
- Concentra San Diego 
- and any other Concentra clinics in California
